Full proposal: The proposed development comprises of a new storage shed with a net internal floor area of 810sq.m. The shed will comprise of a steel portal frame structure clad in profiled fibre cement roof sheeting and profiled metal wall sheeting. A 3.6m high 450mm thick reinforced concrete retaining wall will be located at the rear of the building to retain the existing levels. The lower parts of the remaining external walls will be constructed in blockwork cavity walls between the steel frames. The external envelope will therefore match the existing buildings constructed on the Greenmount Campus. The purpose of the proposed storage shed is for the storage of agricultural machinery like tractors self-propelled forage harvesters and trailed implements. Access to the proposed machinery storage shed will be from the existing Tirgracy Road entrance or existing Kirbys Lane entrance and the through the existing infrastructure within Greenmount Campus itself.
