Full proposal: Redevelopment of existing micro-hydro renewable energy system on the Six Mile Water. Electricity generated to be exported to the grid and used on-site (107kW). It is proposed to retain the existing weir and open channel millrace to continue the current abstraction infrastructure to the mill building. The new development will involve piping the lower section of the mill race and the installation of an Archimedes screw turbine beside the existing return point. To include a new fish-pass on the existing lower weir (revised plans received)
