Full proposal: Section 54 Application to remove Condition No. 2 of planning permission A/1996/0749 which reads - 'The occupation of the dwelling shall be limited to a person solely or mainly employed or last employed in the locality in agriculture as defined in Article 2(2) of the Planning (Northern Ireland) 1991 or in a forestry (including any dependents of such persons residing with him) or a widow or widower of such a person Reason: The site is located within a protected area where it is the policy of the Department to restrict development to those engaged in agriculture or forestry' Reason for removal - 'The publication of PPS 21 and Policy CTY 10 in particular has changed how planning policy restricts agricultural dwellings in the countryside and has introduced different policy tests included an active and established farmer requirement a locational requirement beside a cluster of buildings on the farm and a one in 10 years new farm dwelling provision requirement. As planning policy has totally changed there is no need to now retain this condition'
