The site is comprised of rural fields separated by hedgerows. A residental dwelling with outbuildings is located centrally on the site. The site is accessed off Mullenan Road and is bounded by Ballougry Road to the South and on its East and West by rural fields

Full proposal: Construction of a municipal cemetery to include: burial space for approximately 4000 plots; memorial garden repositories for ashes; conversion of existing dwelling to reception / office admin building; removal of existing outbuildings; memorial service building with public toilets; maintenance/operations/storage building and service yard; parking provision; and all associated landscaping and drainage works including attenuation ponds. Vehicular access to the cemetery will be from Mullenan Road via a new private entrance road. A new footway link will be made to Ballyoughry Road to facilitate onward pedestrian/cycle connection to the Line greenway
