Full proposal: the proposed replacement of turbine T11 as approved under planning reference J/93/0826. The proposal is to replace the existing Zond Z40 turbine with a Vestas V39 as the Z40 is no longer manufactured. Enclosed with the application is technical information showing that the V39 has the same tower height as the Z40 and this tower height is in compliance with the planning permission which specifies (as per the below description in the grant planning Ref. J/93/0826). ''Construction of wind farm consisting of 16 turbines on 40m high towers access road anemometry mast and associated works.'' The blade diameter and tip height of the V39 are 1m and 0.5m shorter respectively than the Z40. Sound power levels also show that the V39 is lower as the reference wind speed of 8m/s than the Z40. The replacement turbine will be located in the same position as the existing turbine.
