Full proposal: The main purpose for the proposed verge/ road alteration is primarily to provide a more attractive approach to the development and existing marina. Increasing the width of the grass verge adjacent to the existing large/ mature hedging will provide a larger forecourt and we are sure this will improve the visual impact as required. Extensive archaeological investigations have taken place in all the previous phases adjacent firstly for the original road/ entrance in 2005 and all over the approximate 30 acre development. No detrimental archaeological findings were uncovered. Please note that this work is part of the phased development for caravan sites starting in 2005 and with all approvals now in place.
