Full proposal: Engineering works to 6 turbines approved under planning application ref K/2006/1678/F (Windfarm) at Bessy Bell 2 windfarm. The proposed works will see the pouring of additional concrete at all existing bases that will widen the foundations to 15m in diameter and deepen the foundations to a depth of 1.86m below ground level. This will result in a 2.1m high concrete collar being wrapped around the circumference of the existing turbines.
