Full proposal: The proposal is to attach a simple circular plaque on the New Street elevation of Clanrye Mills. The plaque has been designed to provide a short statement about the history of the mills. It is proposed that the plaque will be affixed to the frontage of the building to the left of its original entrance in New Street and below one of its carved bosses. The size of the plaque is approximately 300mm diameter and made of brushed dulled stainless steel with etched lettering.
