Full proposal: The proposed works are to the rear of the dwelling at 41 Castle Street Strangford are required to create a 'granny flat': they are to provide better access and accommodation for my elderly mother who it is hoped will come to live in the dwelling. The accommodation currently consists of a Living room/ Bedroom small Laundry room separate WC internal boiler and rear entrance hall and door. Proposed works: It is proposed that the existing Laundry room will convert into a shower room. Once the existing inefficient and undersized internal boiler is removed and upgraded with a more efficient boiler to be externally located the small WC and back hall will be converted into a small kitchen area with the cutting back of an existing internal wall. The existing oil tank is to be re-located allowing for the provision of a newly-formed doorway within an existing window opening while also allowing better daylight into the proposed new shower room.
