Full proposal: Works to sections of Castlewellan Castle retaining terrace wall which have moved with a number of granite stone blocks becoming dislodged and falling to the ground. The defects observed are as a result of considerable vegetation and root growth and the proposed works consists of removing the vegetation and root growth and re-building the sections of the terraced retaining wall where blocks have become dislodged or movement has occurred.
