Full proposal: The proposed development involves the removal of the existing 17.5-metre lattice tower and the decommissioning of the six existing antennas currently installed on the structure. To facilitate the continued provision and enhancement of mobile telecommunications services in the area a replacement lattice telecommunications tower is proposed. The replacement structure has an overall height of 25.0 metres representing an increase over the existing installation that is operationally necessary to deliver the required network coverage and capacity improvements.The replacement structure will be installed on a 5.4m × 5.4m × 1.0m reinforced concrete base and will incorporate a headframe designed to accommodate upgraded telecommunications equipment. The proposed installation will comprise 12 new antennas and 30 associated ERS units mounted on the new tower headframe.
