Full proposal: Upgraded recreation and open space. Springfield dam itself will be opened up and included within the park with new pedestrians paths and linkages providing safe access to and around the Dam. A new bridge will cross the water body that will form part of a standard and act as an all year round destination. The park design includes new street furniture lighting improved boundary treatments re configured car park (increasing capacity to align with current parking standards) and an outdoor classroom that will support education and development for the wider community.
