Full proposal: Proposed temporary Welfare Unit and associated timber fence screening located at the entrance of Portstewart Strand beach. The unit is for use of The National Trust Staff who work to maintain the Portstewart Strand beach including controlling public access. The Welfare Unit will provide essential minimal staff accommodation during seasonal months only. The proposal is for temporary use for a max. period of 3 years. Q19 Flood Risk: A mobile unit (on wheels) is proposed to facilitate prompt removal in event of exceptionally high tides.
